GOD'S WORD - BIBLE
We know, understand, and believe that the entire Bible is inspired by God and without errors or omissions. The Bible is the legal authority and the constitution for the believers on which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine, and apply its principles. THE TRINITY
We believe and accept in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that God the Father is the Creator, architect, and intelligent designer of the world and is actively involved in our daily lives. We also believe that the fullness of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is resting on the inside of us. Colossians 2:9, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Matthew 28:19-20, John 14:16-17
THE POWER OF GOD
We believe in the power of God. Limiting factors do not limit us as we accept that God works in mysterious ways. We value the tangible presence of God in our life and His ability to do all that concerns us as our source. We believe that in each of our services, there should be a distinctive touch of God’s power being felt and seen, as Jesus must be the Centre of all. We are the carrier of God’s supernatural powers. Luke 24:49. 2 Peter 1:3, 4. Luke 10:17-19. Acts 1:8
THE PREACHER
We believe and know that God’s servants are carriers of His mandate, His will, His power, and his agenda for a generation. We believe that God sent those chosen to be in the fivefold ministry to be His tools to teach His sons and daughters, exposing them to the possibilities that are available in God for their lives. We honor the grace servants of God carry through Christ Jesus. Mark 16:15-16. Romans 10:14-15, Ephesians 4:11-13, 2 Chronicle 20:20, Acts 8:12.

Att Platform, strongly believes our members should be successful, relevant, and impactful and have a stable fruitful lifestyle in all areas of life. Our events, conferences, and classes (mentoring and counseling) are a resource for our local church and the body of Christ.
ASSOCIATION
We value all people based on the great commandment – to love our neighbor as ourselves. We value relationships and connections that unite people regardless of age, race, gender, societal standing, nationality, or economic level. Sexual purity in a romantic relationship is vital for building godly lives. Everyone should be plugged into church life through relationships, no program. We should promote friendships with non-believers to reach and love our community. We encourage and value respectful relationships between people and their leaders as one of the keys to a healthy lifestyle and united church. Hebrews 10:24-25, Colossians 3:23, Ephesians 4:2-3
CONNECT & VOLUNTEERING
As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. – 1 Peter 4:10.
At Platform, we believe it is a blessing and privilege to serve our heavenly Father with the talents that He has given us in the house of God (The Church Life). Volunteering is a basic biblical principle that we embrace and encourage. God has given each of us unique gifts, talents, and abilities that can be used to make a difference in the church and the world. RELATIONSHIPS PURITY
We at Platform Church respect and value people’s choice but we also understand that what governs us as a church is the word of God which is the ultimate above all and this has become our governing principles and lifestyle both as individual or church. THE FAMILY COMMUNITY
Platform Church strongly believes in marriage and a healthy family, as they are the foundation of a Godly nation. We provide a course to prepare couples for successful marriages. We help strengthen and restore family and marriages through preaching, teaching, counselling, mentorship, and pastoral care. We provide help, spiritual support, and encouragement for single parents and those in broken homes. Platform Church is a non-racial, non-sexist, fully integrated church. We believe that a truly biblical church should include all nationalities and race group and have both men and women serving in the ministry.
PARTISANSHIP AND MINISTRY INVOLVEMENT
We believe that attenders should become disciples who grow into fully devoted followers of Christ, who stand through trials, and serve the purpose of God. Every believer has a God-given gift that needs to be discovered and that’s why we have the 3DS Class to help make them work effectively within the church circle and outside of the church. We encourage attenders to become partners and fully committed members who serve God with their time, talent, and treasure. It is a biblical principle that ALL people are involved and serve in their local church, not just the salaried workers in the church.
GIVING AND FINANCIAL PARTNERSHIP
Giving is a biblical principal that when lived by, produces a rich harvest in our lives. Giving is not limited to simply our finances; it’s a lifestyle. When we live with the spirit of giving, when we give the Lord our tithes and our offerings, when we give to those in need, when we give of our time, our love, our resources, we are sowing seeds that God will make sure blossoms into a rich harvest! Not just of financial blessings, but rich in all aspects of life. He’ll make sure the right doors open, the right people come into your life, and the right breaks are received. SPEAKING IN TONGUES & GIFTS
We believe in the Holy Spirit and He is the one who gives us gifts. We are all given different gifts that will benefit the Kingdom of God and help others come into a saving relationship with Jesus. Speaking in tongues helps us with our union with Christ and gives us direct access to God’s heart.

WATER BAPTISM
We believe that water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ. It is an open demonstration and a declaration of our stand in Christ, while also being a testimony of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, saying we are partakers of His work. Matthew 28:19. Colossians 2:2. 1 Peter 3:21. Galatians 3:27
COMMUNION
We regularly receive Communion as our faith is strong in this mystery and as an act of remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made for us by dying on the cross. We see from the scripture that Jesus also partook of it and ask us to do the same. Luke 22:19-20. 1 Corinthians 11:24-25. John 6:48-51, Acts 2:42-46.
FEET WASHING
We strongly believe in following the footsteps and mysteries the Father and what Jesus Christ did in His earthly work. Feet’s washing is a mystery ordained for this generation. By partaking in feet washing, we step into the same path as Jesus. This is one powerful tool the scripture shows among so many mysteries about cleaning the past into a new life in Christ. Through this mystery, yokes are broken, generational curses destroyed and lives are shifted into newness and oneness with the Father. Study John 13:12-17(14). Genesis 18:4; 43:24. PRAISE, PRAYERS & FASTING.
We are strong believers in prayer and fasting. We understand the pressure life can give and we are fully aware and committed to handling spiritual matters with spiritual weapons which one of them is through prayer, fasting and exciting, dynamic, energetic, and contemporary praise and worship. ANOINTING OIL
We believe that God can work in diverse mysterious ways. We don’t agree that the oil alone carries the power of God, but we believe that when prayed upon, it can be used as a weapon in the hands of God to break every yoke and set apart His people for a specific assignment. We understand throughout scripture that the oil was used in different instances and this mystery is what we stand for. James 5:14, Mark 6:13, Leviticus 8:12, 1 Samuel 16:13, Psalm 23:5
HEALING
Jesus came to bind the brokenhearted and restore dignity and purpose to every human being. We believe that God heals and restores lives, marriages, businesses, and anything that is of importance to you as we follow Him, serve Him and sit under the teaching of the word of God. According to the promise of God, every believer is entitled to belives in physical health and wellness. This can come through either the prayers in services, the laying of hands, or the appropriation by the believers of the word of God.
GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
We accept responsibility for our growth and the development of the church. With this understanding, we have programs that help us understand and navigate life’s challenges and our spiritual growth from family, business, relationships, career part, mentorship, finance, and health. BUILDING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT
Our community safety is our responsibility and we at Platform Church fully understand that it is on us to play a part to make our community safe. CHARACTER AND HONESTY
At Platform Church we believe that character is more important than gifting, and that a godly lifestyle brings honour and respect to the church of God, and increased influence in the world. CAREGIVERS

THE LESS PRIVILEGE
At Platform Church, we believe that our church should make a significant social contribution to the world’s less privileged. We help and assist the underprivileged communities in many practical ways to lift the level of their lives. We believe that as we are blessed to be a blessing to others and that faith without works is dead. The Darlington Steve Foundation, Platform Cares, and One rand project are our key avenues for showing compassion and giving financial aid and services to the less privileged. We believe in social justice, a community of equal opportunity and life security for all.
SPORT AND RECREATION
At Platform church, we understand the value of celebrating, having fun, and also find ways to recreate. We are called the family of rest and that’s why some of our activities are not churchly but meet other aspects of life like sports and recreational activities. At Platform church, some of our programs change to accommodate lifestyle and entertainment that are soul uplifting. We have events that encourage social integration and networking. We believe that the life of a church is the value you get out of the church. We are a relevant and well-structured church positioned to reach all kinds of people
GENERATIONAL MINISTRY
We believe that our church, Platform church should be large, healthy, and impactful. Our goal is to reach and help many people as possible even the unchurched by integrating them as totally committed Disciples of Christ who have made a partnership commitment to serve in the church. One of the signs of a healthy church is increase. The church that is not reaching out is passing out. We have a sense of warmth, family, and community despite our community increasing. A community is an attitude and a value, rather than a product of a small church.
PATRIOTIC FAMILY
We believe our nation and the continent can overcome its weaknesses and develop its full potential of rest. The church should be fully supportive, highly loyal, and engaging in all aspects of governance. While not over the looking the issues affecting the nations, negative and critical talks is not part of the family of rest (Platform Church). We believe we should speak well of our nations and it’s leaders in authority, always engaging, highlighting, and finding possible ways to provide solutions for our country. 1 peter 2:17, Matthew 22:37-40, Romans 13:1-14, 1Timothy 2:1-3

- DISCOVER: We are a church that has a vested interest in the gifts, callings, and talent of the people in the body of Christ. We are called to help you see the potential God has deposited in you for this generation.
- DEVELOP: We help and find ways to develop what has been given to you and help you make it usable, sellable, and impactful within a generation or trans-generational.
- DEPLOY: Once we’ve discovered and developed you, we then deploy you to serve in your Father’s house. This is where you contribute towards the growth of the mandate and vision of the house, while where we can; assist you with resources to be profitable in the marketplace.
